Abstract

COVID-19 has produced a variety of life-saving effects on the global population so far. In all areas, widespread changes and deteriorations in social, economic, and health dimensions occurred as a result of the pandemic. Individuals of all ages are being affected directly or indirectly as a result of the so-called changes. In terms of physical health, while older adults, people with chronic ailments, healthcare workers, and their relatives are more vulnerable than children and teenagers, the pandemic's isolation measures were applied to the entire society. As a result, the pandemic limitations have had an impact on teens and children, even if COVID-19 does not pose a significant risk to their health or survival. Many young people have had social, emotional, and mental problems as a result of the disruption of educational life caused by school closures and online activities, curfews, and the restriction of social activities. According to surveys, the traumatic effects experienced at this developmental stage can have long-term ramifications throughout the lives of young people. The goal of this research was to look at the impact of the COVID-19 epidemic on young individuals. For this purpose, in the light of current research, the effects on young people's physical and psychological health, socialization and family relations and educational processes were discussed using the literature search method. The descriptive analysis technique also evaluated and presented recommendations for the physical, social and psychological health of young people during and after the outbreak.
