About the Journal

The Journal of Political Psychology (JPP) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access academic journal that publishes original research articles, reviews, and theoretical contributions in the interdisciplinary field of political psychology. The journal aims to explore the psychological mechanisms underlying political behavior, identity, attitudes, decision-making, leadership, ideology, nationalism, polarization, and collective memory.

Published biannually (in June and December), JPP follows a double-blind peer-review process to ensure academic rigor and objectivity.

The journal welcomes contributions from a variety of disciplines including psychology, political science, sociology, communication studies, cultural studies, and related fields, provided they offer novel insights into political psychology.

JPP accepts articles written in Turkish or English, and provides abstracts and key sections in both languages to enhance international reach.
